The Cabin... Continued

I'm wrapping up my changes for today, so I thought I would show you what the cabin looks like nowadays.

Here is the side view from the end of the driveway. In this picture you can see our only source of cooling the cabin, aside from a small electric fan.

This is the front of the cabin. As you can see, we haven't got around to installing the front door or any of the windows yet. Those features will be a major face lift.

This is the side view of the kitchen door. This is the only side that I have gotten around to applying stain to. I am doing it with a brush and not a sprayer. I think it goes on more evenly that way. Yes, I did run out of stain and that is why there is a little patch that is not stained. Sorry! Also, I did the steps myself, so careful on your way up!

Aside from the septic system, we are currently working on installing the ceiling. Here is Don screwing in the first sheet of 1/2" wallboard. He also made that T so we can hold the wallboard in place easier. That stuff is heavy, especially when you have to lift it over your head.
